Is An LLC A Business License?
In today’s post, we’re going to address whether or not an LLC is the same as a Business License.
Hello, this is your LLC Guru, welcome to our site! We believe in helping people get started in business worry-free & protected!
We help regular people get their own LLCs quickly, inexpensively, and with confidence! If you need an LLC or are even thinking about one, you have come to the right site, YourLLCGuru.com!
We take the guesswork out of getting an LLC!
Before we start I would like to mention that this is in no way legal or tax advice.
So is an LLC a business license? It is not. An LLC is a business entity that protects the business owner from liability related to the business and it has nothing to do with a business license. We recommend everyone get an LLC but depending on what you’re doing and what jurisdiction you’re in, you may or may not need a business license.
So, think of it like this: a business license = maybe; an LLC = absolutely!
Now you know an LLC and a business license are two totally unrelated things. We believe you absolutely should have an LLC if you’re in business. Depending on what type of business you are considering, you may or may not need a business license.
