Hello this is your LLC Guru, welcome to our site! Now, back to the definition of an LLC.  LLC is short for Limited Liability Company and as its name says, it is a company that limits the liability of the owner of a business!

LLCs are business entities in the U.S. that help protect business owners from personal liability related to the business. In other words, an LLC limits your personal liability so if your business does something and gets into some kind of trouble, then the BUSINESS is in trouble, not you. 

And in case you were wondering, LLCs are not just for individuals or small companies.  There are some huge, well-known companies that operate as  LLCs such as Pepsi-Cola, Sony, Nike, eBay, and even IBM!  

There are many benefits to setting your business up as an LLC.
